There are two ways to search for a specific sample or set of samples
1. You can type any information you know of the samples in 'search sample' bar located in top middle of the Samples page
2. Utilize Advanced Search button in the top right corner of the Samples page, which will bring up the search screen.
The search fields on the Advanced search function include the following options from the sample information such as, Species, Sample Type, Crop year, Reference, Moisture, Water Activity, Country o Producer, Producer Name.
There are also search fields on the cupping results for that sample. These include:
- Average score min
- Average score max
- Fragrance descriptors (you can click the wheel to select the descriptors, or type into the text box)
- Flavor and aftertaste descriptors (you can click the wheel to select the descriptors, or type into the text box)
- Acidity descriptors
- Body descriptors
- Defects descriptors
An examples of the wheel is available as downloadable file attached to this article.
Once you have filled out the applicable search fields, you can click the green "Search" button at the bottom of the search screen. This will load a list of the samples that meet your search criteria. To clear the search fields and start over, simply click the "reset search" button.
